White
White wine has existed for at least 2500 years and is produced by the alcoholic fermentation of the non-coloured pulp of grapes which may have a white or black skin. White wine is more refreshing and lighter in both style and taste than the majority of red wines and is usually used as a refreshing drink between meals or with dessert. Some major types of white wine are Chardonnay, Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Riesling etc.
The flavour profiles of white wine range from citrus, fresh pear, melon (Pinot Grigio) to Green apple, citrus, pineapple, papaya (Chardonnay).
